ICSB is delighted to announce that Dean Caryn L. Beck-Dudley, J.D. Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business will be one of the keynote speakers at the ICSB 2021 World Congress.
The keynote address title is Why Does Accreditation Matter in today’s Academia?
Why does accreditation matter? Accreditation by AACSB represents the international seal of approval for business and accounting programs that ensures the educational needs of students are met through high quality, continuous improvement, and excellence in education.
About the Speaker:
Caryn Beck-Dudley began her tenure as the seventh dean of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University on August 1, 2015. Beck-Dudley has served as dean at Florida State University and Utah State University. Before her academic career, she was an attorney in commercial and corporate law with VanCott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy.
In addition to teaching business law, employment law and business ethics she has made many public presentations large and small audiences on a variety of leadership and legal/ethical topics. Her work is published in several journals, including the American Business Law Journal where she served on the editorial board.
Beck-Dudley served two previous terms on the AACSB Board of Directors and served as the FY18-19 Board Chair. She is currently the immediate past chair of AACSB. She frequently interacts with Silicon Valley companies and works with those leaders in reimaging how higher education can serve the workforce needs of the future.
